BINI has joined the amazing roster of Filipino talent for the original soundtrack of DreamWorks Animation’s Forgotten Island, an original animated film with Filipino culture at the forefront. BINI fans got a surprise treat at the start of their Signals world tour as the girl group gave a sneak peek into their song for the film, A Parallel World. The performance also involved special choreography for the track. Other artists in the lineup are SB19 covering Francis Magalona’s Mga Kababayan, Ruby Ibarra and Carl Angelo performing Salbahe Ako, H.E.R., Katseye’s Sophia Laforteza, and Lea Salonga.
Forgotten Island is an emotional story about lifelong friends that must come together in an otherworldly adventure in the mythical island of Nakali, before they drift apart into their separate life journeys. The island includes fantastical beings from Filipino folklore, both friendly and fearsome. Grammy and Academy Award-winning singer H.E.R. and international star Liza Soberano lead the film as the voices of best friends Jo and Raissa. The cast also includes internationally celebrated Filipino actors such as Manny Jacinto, Dolly de Leon, and Jo Koy.
