Fans were left a-MEW-sed and in love when Mew Suppasit Jongcheveevat returned to the Philippines for his 2nd fan meeting last October 27, 2023 at Samsung Hall. The 32-year old Thai artist, singer-songwriter, and CEO has starred in various series including hit BL series, What the Duck (2018) and TharnType (2019), which both ran for two seasons. He also debuted as a singer in 2020 which led him to releasing various hit singles and international collaboration with other artists.
Mew first held his first solo meeting in Manila early in 2020. If there is one thing he missed about the Philippines, it would be the energy of Filipino fans. Without a doubt, the crowd did not disappoint him, because the moment he opened the show singing Rolling in the Deep by Adele, he was in for a whole night of excitement and celebration.
Mew continued his opening performance with Flowers by Miley Cyrus.
The first segment was getting to know Mew wherein he will choose 3 icons on the screen and answer corresponding questions related to that icon. The first icon he chose was ‘the fashion icon’ in which his question was ‘What is Mew’s personal style?’ The crowd went wild when he said “No shirt at all.. And no pants at all.” This was obviously followed by screams of “sample sample sample” from the audience.
For the second icon he chose was ‘Just Mew’ wherein he revealed that his hidden talent was that he can sleep everywhere… and may be dancing? He never hesitated to show off his moves. No doubt Mew is everything.
Third and last icon was ‘the singer.’ He shared (sang rather) that Perfect by Ed Sheeran is on his playlist, and read the following statement with Filipino pride: SB19’s Gento delighted Mew as well.
The second segment was something very familiar to Filipinos – Pinoy Henyo. Mew is given 30 seconds to guess the word behind him with only a ‘Yes’ or a ‘No’ from the audience. Of the eight (8) words, Mew guessed five (5) of them correctly: Chopper, Mew, Pad Thai, Manila, and Mango. The audience was rewarded by three poses from Mew.
More MEW-sic when Mew sang his hit song Spaceman.
The show continued with another getting to know Mew segment wherein he was shown traveling items and will need to identify which of the items he personally brings with him. A charger is something that he would bring because “I need to call someone.” (Hmm.. Who could that be?)
If there is one thing Filipinos are proud of, it would be our snacks.. And Mew has got to try out some of them. He was served Banana Chips, Ensamayda, and Chocnut which he found all to be good but Banana Chips was his most favorite.
Mew gave his Mewlions a surprise when he went around the venue while serenading them with his debut single Season of You.
Mewlions were not only there to watch Mew, but they came prepared with a fan video and sang With a Smile by Eraserheads for Mew. They even prepared a cake as a present and sang Mew a ‘happy birthday’ for Mew’s birthday in February (We are advanced just like that).
Mew had only few heartfelt words for his Filipino Mewlions: “Mahal kita. Thank you so much.”
Filipino Mewlions to Mew: “Your smile lights up our world.”
During the fan benefits, Mew looks stunning in a barong.
Should we be FOMO with Mew, he will be starring in a series of projects in 2024 like Mon Rak Luk Thung, Homeroom, and The Ocean Eyes.
Special thanks to MakeItLive, Friendster, and Fangirlasia.

An actor, model, singer-songwriter, producer, and CEO, Mew paved his way into the entertainment industry through advertisements and music videos until he was casted in a television series that eventually led him to the role of “Tharn” in “TharnType: The Series”, a 2019 Thai BL series adapted from a web novel by MAME, which skyrocketed his popularity even among global audiences.
Since then, Mew bagged numerous awards and recognition, not just for his acting skills, but also for his talent in music. A year after the release of his first single “Season of You”, the Thai hot shot made history as the first Thai artist to chart in Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales with five songs from his album making it into the top ten.
With passion and determination, Mew established Mew Suppasit Studio where he mainly collaborates with various international artists including HONNE (“SPACEMAN”), Sam Kim (“Before 4:30 (She Said…)”), Bumkey (“Forever Love”), and most recently, EXO’s Suho (“Turn Off the Alarm”).
Off camera, Mew proves to be admirable as he continues to pursue his PhD degree in industrial engineering after earning his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in the same course.
Having been to Manila in 2020 for his first fanmeet, Mew remembers how his Filipino fans showed their love and support for him since and throughout the years that have passed, which makes him even more excited and geared up to come back and meet them again for a much more intimate and memorable show!
Hwang Min Hyun made his much-awaited return to Manila last October 8 at the New Frontier Theater for his first solo mini concert. Min Hyun has a rich K-pop background as the former lead vocalist of NU’EST and a member of Wanna One, and earlier this year he released his first mini album, “Truth or Lie.”
The show kicked off with Min Hyun’s explosive performance of his popular title track “Hidden Side,” which currently has almost 5 million streams on Spotify. He looked so handsome in a stylish black and white outfit. After a brief intro in Filipino and Korean, he showed off his strong vocals with the ballads “Honest” and “Earphone.”
Unveiling Different Sides of Himself The interview segments and mini games hosted by Kring Kim were unexpected but were a good way to learn more about Min Hyun. In the Unveil Timing game, he had to complete challenges from three categories: In Dancing, he incorrectly guessed the next dance move from his music video. In Singing, he was able to sing the next lines of his songs. In Acting, a scene from his previous drama was shown, but he wasn’t able to recall the next line. He said, “I realized my memory is not so good after all! But I enjoyed the game because the different categories made me go back to my different projects.”
As penalty for getting two challenges wrong, he danced short snippets of the songs “Super Shy” by New Jeans and “Betcha” by Baekhyun.
Then it was back to showcasing his vocals as he sang “So Beautiful” from the webtoon After School Lessons for Unripe Apples, and “Tree” from the drama Alchemy of Souls, where he played the role of Seo Yul. After an outfit change, he turned up the heat with his performances of “Perfect Type” and “Cube.”
The Actor+Singer One of the highlights was the segment “Hwang Min Hyun’s Music Album Season 2,” where Min Hyun seamlessly blended his acting and singing talents. He assumed the role of a radio DJ and after reading a letter he shared songs that he felt could relate to the letter sender’s situation. He sang beautiful renditions of “Back in Time” by K.Will, “The Snowman” by Jung Seung Hwan, “White Night” by Zitten, and “Crazy” by Mark Smith.
He thanked the Hwangdos, as his fans are called, for their unwavering support before ending the segment with a sweet performance of his highly anticipated song, “Universe.”
Grateful Man Min Hyun was generous with fan interactions, giving smiles, waves and even acknowledging fans who screamed their love and adoration for him.
He appeared onstage again for an encore performance of the sweet and catchy “Crossword” and was also surprised by a video from the fans. He thanked his Hwangdos multiple times throughout the evening and one of his messages was: “Thank you for being with me. Thank you for your love and support. It will give me more energy to stand up.”
The mini concert was thoroughly enjoyable, and Hwang Min Hyun’s angelic voice, dancing skills, even his short acting snippets impressed everyone. Fans old and new can look forward to his future music releases and upcoming acting projects.

It was a night filled with enthusiasm and energy when Force Jiratchapong and Book Kasidet graced Manila for their first ever fan meeting last October 1, 2023 at the SM North Edsa Skydome presented by Wish Us Luck Entertainment.
Although they have been friends for the past 16 years, Force and Book first starred as on-screen partners in GMMTV’s hit Thai Boys Love (BL) series Enchanté (2022). After its success, they co-starred in yet another series of BLs this year– A Boss and a Babe, OurSkyy 2 Special, and the currently ongoing Only Friends. They have called their fandom TomaFox (combination of tomato which is Book’s favorite and fox as reference to Force in Enchanté).
During the presscon, Manila Concert Scene asked how they felt about being able to hold their first fan meeting in the Philippines. They mentioned that they have received a very warm welcome from their Filipino fans right from the time they arrived in the airport, hotel, and up to the venue, so they are really happy to be spending this day with their Filipino fans.
Here are some unforgettable moments during the show.
The show opened with Force and Book singing My Luck by Book Kasidet himself as one of the OST in A Boss and a Babe.
The first segment was a getting-to-know game – Fox or Tomato. In this segment, a pair of phrases will be associated with A (Fox) vs. B (Tomato). All Force and Book must do is choose which statement resonates more to them.
Fans were touched with Book’s response to the phrases ‘Ability to Fast Forward Time’ vs. ‘Ability to Pause Time’. Book did not hesitate to raise a tomato indicating ‘Ability to Pause Time’. He said, “Right Now.”
In the phrases ‘Give Hugs’ vs. ‘Receive Hugs’, fans were caught off guard when the two had opposing answers then Book suddenly gave Force a hug. Now, this is the kind of ‘opposite attracts’ that we like.
A little break then Force serenaded the fans with a very familiar song to Thai BL fans – Kan Goo
Book continued to charm the fans by singing Still Together
The second game was Figure Me Out. Force and Book will be playing against each other blindfolded as they try to guess what the item is in between both their cheeks. Items were a stuffed toy, a blow dryer, and a tomato. It ended up with Force winning 1 point by guessing the stuffed toy.
As a punishment, Book had to imitate the emoji flashed on the screen.
That is a very cute punishment, though. The last game was Guess that Role. In this game, Force and Book have to guess the character and the series to which the line came from. It was from their own series, so Force and Book ended up in a tie, hence, no punishment for any of them.
Of course, they couldn’t leave without watching the heartfelt video made by their Filipino TomaFoxes as well as singing Book an advance birthday song (Book is to celebrate his 27th birthday on October 25).
ForceBook’s Message to Filipino TomaFoxes
Force: You are beyond expectation. I heard that Filipino fans are so hyped and energetic but today for me to be in this event, you have proven that you are there to support us and are very nice. I want to come back. You make me smile.
Book: Thank you for welcoming us to the Philippines. Thank you for your high energy today. You made it more fun. It made me astonished a bit, but seeing you guys happy gives me the energy to move forward. I already fell in love with all of you. I hope to come back again.
Filipino TomaFoxes’ Message to ForceBook: Your love is the FORCE that writes the most beautiful chapters in our BOOK of life.
They closed the fanmeet by singing Hook by Gemini Norawit. The fans were very happy when the two went down the stage and roamed around giving the audience a closer glimpse of their charms.
During the fan benefits, it was a delight to see Force and Book wearing a traditional barong.
