Alternative rock powerhouse IV OF SPADES has made a highly-anticipated return, officially culminating in the release of their sophomore studio album, ‘Andalucia.’ Released on November 5, 2025, this 12-track record solidifies the comeback of the band’s original and full lineup—Unique Salonga, Zild Benitez, Blaster Silonga, and Badjao De Castro—following a nearly five-year hiatus.

The new album is heralded by the dynamic singles ‘Aura’ and ‘Nanaman,’ showcasing the group’s signature sound. Beyond the initial buzz, ‘Andalucia’ dives deep into the band’s versatility, featuring the introspective, groove-heavy track ‘Konsensya,’ alongside the beautifully laid-back and escapist anthem, ‘Suliranin.’ This marks their first full-length effort since 2019’s ‘ClapClapClap!’ and their first with all four members since Unique Salonga’s departure in 2018.

Creative Process and Album Inspiration
During an exclusive listening session, the group offered insight into their creative process upon reuniting. When asked about avoiding creative clashes, guitarist Blaster Silonga explained the positive environment: “Sa creative process, parang positive reinforcement ang nangyari. Parang nauuna na yung improvements na idea kesa sa criticism” (In the creative process, it was like positive reinforcement happened. It seems the improvements on an idea came first before the criticism).

Bassist Zild Benitez also revealed the deeply personal source of the album’s title, sharing that ‘Andalucia’ was inspired by his former residence where they hangout the most.

Major Concert This December
To celebrate their return and the new album, IV OF SPADES will be headlining their first-ever major concert, IV of Spades presents ANDALUCIA, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on December 12 and December 13. Day 1 (December 12) is officially SOLD OUT. Tickets for Day 2 (December 13) will go on sale on November 9 via SM Tickets.
