Ten years after rising to fame as the winner of The Voice Philippines, Jason Dy delivered a career-defining performance at his 10th anniversary concert SoliDYfied—a soulful, star-powered celebration that reinforced his place as one of OPM’s most enduring voices.
Held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, SoliDYfied was a retrospective of the singer’s artistry. Sharing stories of how he was a singing telegram back in the day, to his stints as a demo vocalist for various songwriters, and even his moments as a contestant in several singing competitions. Jason shared these glimpse into his rich history. Backed by a dynamic live band and emotionally charged visuals, the Prince of Soul took fans on a journey through his music, from radio staples to deep cuts, revealing just how far he’s come since his breakout in 2015.

The night’s energy surged with the arrival of his fellow Vocal Champs tour collaborators—Kyla, Yeng Constantino, KZ Tandingan, and TJ Monterde—who each joined Dy onstage for powerhouse duets, with a climax featuring a group performance of TJ Monterde’s “Palagi”. Their onstage chemistry, honed during their North America tours in 2023 and 2024, translated into seamless, emotionally resonant performances that brought the crowd to palpable excitement.
But the night hit a fever pitch with two show-stopping surprise guests. First, Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid stunned the audience with an unannounced appearance, joining Dy for a soaring duet of “Hanggang Ngayon.” The two vocal titans delivered an emotional moment that earned a roaring ovation. “I just want to congratulate you on your 10th year anniversary,” Regine told Dy onstage. “This is just the beginning for you—we’re expecting more of this.”
Soon after, Concert King Martin Nievera made a grand entrance, arriving straight from the airport after an overseas trip to make it in time. Together, he and Jason sang “Be My Lady,” a timeless ballad that bridged generations and underscored the deep respect Dy commands within the industry.

Helming the concert was renowned director John Prats, whose storytelling approach and cinematic pacing turned SoliDYfied into more than a concert—it was a tribute, a culmination, and a promise of what’s to come.
For fans and peers alike, the evening served as a reminder: Jason Dy isn’t just surviving in the industry—he’s soaring. And if this decade was any indication, the next ten are poised to be even bigger.
