On March 22 and 23, Marvel fans of all ages gathered at the Theater at Solaire to immerse themselves in the exciting storytelling of their favorite Marvel movies. Presented by Film Concerts PH, the Marvel Studios’ Infinity Saga Concert Experience showcased exhilarating music from the most iconic scenes across 23 films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, all packed into a thrilling two-hour performance.
Hours before the concert began on day one, the theater’s lobby buzzed with excitement as fans enjoyed a photo experience with their beloved heroes. Many concertgoers cosplayed as Marvel characters, making the event feel like a comic convention.

The concert was led by Maestro Gerard Salonga, who conducted over 90 talented musicians from the esteemed symphony orchestra FILharmoniKA. As the musical director, Salonga welcomed the Filipino Marvel community with an engaging introduction to the orchestra’s families of instruments, highlighting a diverse array of strings and woodwinds. He humorously noted the use of large percussion instruments, joking about ordering Asgardian wood, only to settle for the more familiar Filipino kahoy.
Encouraging audience participation, Salonga urged, “If you see a hero you love, cheer for them; if a scene gets you excited, you can go crazy!” He playfully added, “If a villain you despise appears, jeer at them… I don’t mind hearing a few boos!” He also asked the crowd to let their emotions flow freely, “When you hear ‘I love you 3000…’” he said, gesturing as if tears were streaming down his cheeks.
Before the show started, Salonga, sporting a Hulk T-shirt beneath his blazer, acknowledged fans dressed as their favorite Marvel heroes, including Captain America with his iconic shield and Thor wielding his mighty hammer.
The concert opened with the origins of beloved Marvel heroes like Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor. The theater erupted during the legendary “Avengers Assemble” scene from the 2012 blockbuster, with the official soundtrack energizing the audience.
Infinity Saga also highlighted memorable moments from films such as Ant-Man, Spider-Man, and Black Panther, among others. The concert provided a sneak peek of Thanos, accompanied by ominous music that kept everyone on the edge of their seats before a brief intermission.
The second half of the show intensified as Thanos and the Black Order embarked on their quest to collect the Infinity Stones. The symphony crescendoed as Thanos acquired the Mind Stone and snapped his fingers, eradicating half of the universe’s population. The audience was captivated as the orchestra played during the Avengers’ return, highlighting their noble mission to recover the Infinity Stones and undo Thanos’ destruction. Cheers roared when the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ravagers, Masters of the Mystic Arts, and the Wakandan and Asgardian armies united to battle Thanos and his minions.
Alongside the adrenaline-fueled fight scenes, the concert movingly honored fallen heroes like Black Widow and T’Challa (Wakanda forever!). The loudest cheers erupted during Tony Stark’s ultimate sacrifice as he wielded the Infinity Stones to defeat Thanos. Other fan favorites, including Captain America, Wanda, Pepper, and Captain Marvel, also received thunderous applause throughout the concert.

In celebration with the audience, FILharmoniKA delivered an encore performance of the Avengers theme, prompting a standing ovation from the pumped-up crowd.
The Marvel Studios’ Infinity Saga Concert was truly a remarkable experience, allowing audiences — whether casual viewers or die-hard fans — to relive iconic moments from over a decade of films while reveling in the grandeur of live orchestral music.
