The OPM hitmaker takes center stage in the star-studded tribute concert dubbed “The Music of Vehnee Saturno” to honor his over 40 years of musical legacy on January 31, 2025 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.

Joining him in this special night are some of OPM’s brightest stars, including Ice Seguerra, Joey Generoso, Jessa Zaragoza, Julie Anne San Jose, and Kyla. Adding even more star power to the show are iconic artists Dingdong Avanzado, Noel Cabangon, Rita Daniela, Daryl Ong, Kris Lawrence, and Martin Nievera.

The accolade “hitmaker” fits Saturno perfectly as he composed torch songs turned OPM classics. Among his most iconic works are “Wala Na Bang Pag-ibig?” and “Dahil Tanging Ikaw” by Jaya, “Till My Heartaches End” by Ella Mae Saison, and “Be My Lady” by Martin Nievera. He is also behind unforgettable hits like “Sana Kahit Minsan” by Ariel Rivera, “How Could You Say You Love Me?” by Sarah Geronimo, and many more.

Saturno’s rich catalog of over 800 songs also boasts a string of gold, platinum, and multi-platinum record awards. The notable tunesmith remains a dominant force in OPM today after being recently feted as one of the top composers for 2023 by the Filipino Society of Composers. Now in his fourth decade in the music industry, he continues to create heart-rending songs while discovering and mentoring the next generation of Filipino talent.
