This comes after a meeting wherein the venue and city officials committed to ensuring a smooth and fun concert for all.

Gates now open at 2PM

Previously slated at 4PM, concert gates will now open at 2PM to lessen queue time for concert goers. This will also allow them to enter the concert grounds earlier to avoid overcrowding.

ERASERHEADS TO PERFORM IN FINAL REUNION IN THE PHILIPPINES

The upcoming concert of Filipino rock icons, the Eraserheads, will be their last in the Philippines as confirmed by the producers.

“This will be the last reunion of the group that’s why we want to give the fans one last epic show,” Francis Lumen, one of the producers of the concert and president of WEU, said.

This was confirmed by Diane Ventura, one of the co-producers of the concert and manager of lead vocalist Ely Buendia. “This is definitely the last reunion of the Eraserheads in the Philippines,” Ventura said.

The show was aptly dubbed as Huling El Bimbo, signaling that it is indeed the group’s final performance. Two weeks after the initial release of tickets, producers expanded the capacity to accommodate more concert goers.

Lead vocalist Ely Buendia said that the Huling El Bimbo isn’t like any other previous reunion concerts. “Because we love our fans, we want to give them something different here. It’s the beginning of a new chapter in our lives and we also want them to have a special memory of Eraserheads as we move forward,” Buendia said.

The concert promises an unforgettable experience of Eraserheads including an 18-piece orchestra, a drone show and a hologram of the late Francis M. The reunion concert is Eraserheads’ gift to fans as they kick-off the Christmas spirit before the yuletide celebrations.

The Huling El Bimbo – Eraserheads Reunion Concert 2022 is a production by WEU Event Management Services, Ant Savvy Creatives and Entertainment Inc., DVent Productions and Myriad Entertainment Corporation. Eraserheads 2022 concert increases capacity to bring more fans together

More tickets are now available for more fans to watch the Huling El Bimbo – Eraserheads Reunion Concert 2022 after producers expanded the capacity for each section and created an additional General Admission section. The highly anticipated concert is set to happen on December 22, 2022 at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City.

The millions of fans that followed the group over its three-decade run immediately snapped up the 50,000 tickets that were made available last October. Believing that it will be the last reunion of the iconic 90’s band, fans clamored for more tickets or additional concert dates.

“Heeding the call of the fans, the producers and the members of the band agreed to increase the capacity of the concert venue in order for more fans to watch them live. This is not just a regular concert, but a shared experience of the millions of fans and generations that grew up listening to their music,” Francis Lumen, producer of the concert, said.

The concert promises to highlight the Eraserheads that the fans loved over the years as well as showcase them in a different light with new arrangements of their greatest hits accompanied by an 18-piece orchestra. The band will also pay tribute to its honorary fifth member, the late Francis Magalona, by performing with him on stage through the magic of hologram.

The Huling El Bimbo – Eraserheads Reunion Concert 2022 will be the first reunion concert of the Eraserheads after their last public performance in 2009. At the speed of fans purchasing tickets, those who plan to watch the concert better grab their tickets while they still can. Tickets are available at all SM Tickets outlets and online.

The Head In The Clouds experience, of course, is much more fun when enjoyed in the company of close friends, siblings and relatives. As a year-ender barkada get-together, it really doesn’t get any better than this. Tickets now on sale, passes can be purchased HERE.

Since its widely-acclaimed debut in the US back in 2018, 88rising’s Head In The Clouds festival has emerged as one of the most anticipated annual events for fans of both music and the arts. The festival is unique in the sense that it specifically specializes on Asian music and culture from all around the around. No surprise it was eventually hailed as the “Asian Coachella.”

Every staging of Head In The Clouds, has in fact, received unanimous praise. In 2018, the very first HITC festival was hailed by The Bull’s Eye as “an unforgettable experience…one of the best musical events” of the year. Reviewing in 2019, the Los Angeles Times High School Insider noted that “the festival, which isn’t just about music, more garnered 25,000 people — more than double the amount” of the previous year.
In 2021, a year after the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, Uproxx hailed Head In The Clouds as “Los Angeles’ next great music festival while just recently, Concert Updater said the festival, “simply lived up to the hype.” “Everything from the music, the food, the crowd, and the overall experience was absolute perfection,” the site further posted in its review of the festival that took place at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California last August.

Filipino fans will now get the chance to experience what everyone else in the US was raving about. This year, Head In The Clouds is expanding its horizons and taking all its euphoria to Southeast Asia with two separate dates in Jakarta and Manila happening this December.
