Forged in fire at a hidden camp at Lake Pyhäjärvi in Kitee, Tuomas Holopainen, the band’s keyboardist, spawned NIGHTWISH. His vision turned into a massive ensemble that made a phenomenal mark in the
industry with their debut album Angels Fall First reaching the number 31 spot on the Finnish charts, while their single, “The Carpenter” made it to the Top 10.

NIGHTWISH’s historic chronicle continued with more chart-topping albums such as Oceanborn (1998), Wishmaster (2000), and Century Child (2002) to name a few. The EP Over the Hills and Far Away released in 2001 dominated the charts for nearly a year. While their 2004

WayV is back for their first ever solo fanmeeting tour in the Philippines!

The global boygroup WayV will make their way to Philippine shores this year for their first ever solo fanmeeting tour entitled 2023 WayV FANMEETING Tour [Phantom] In Manila!

WayV is a global boygroup that debuted under SM Entertainment’s sub-label Label V. In 2019, they released their first digital EP “The Vision”. They have recently returned with their latest comeback EP “Phantom”.

WayV will hold a Manila fanmeeting at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on March 26 at 5PM, and will continue their global fanmeeting tour this 2023.

According to WayV’s official Twitter account, the five members of the group, KUN, TEN, XIAOJUN, HENDERY, and YANGYANG will be participating in this tour to meet their fans and spend time through various stages, talks, and games.

The last time Filipino WayZenNi were able to meet WayV was during I-POP U 2022 Manila, another production brought by DNM Entertainment, which took place on October 21st, 2022.

This time, WayV will be able to spend more time with their fans and create precious memories together.

Finally! ALANIS MORISSETTE heading back to Manila, set for AUG. 2023 at MOA Arena

This is it, Philippines!

Alanis Morissette, Canadian-American singer-songwriter, will finally perform her special one-night concert at the Mall of Asia Arena on August 1, 2023, to celebrate the 28th anniversary of her most recognized and iconic album, Jagged Little Pill.

Her upcoming show in Manila is part of her tour celebrating the supposedly 25th anniversary of her album and was originally scheduled to take place at the MOA Arena on April 2020 but it was moved on December 2021, and November 2022, the shows have been postponed three times because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jagged Little Pill captured the zeitgeist of the mid-’90s by crossing the line between Gen-X cynicism and self-realization. It was pitched somewhere between glitzy mainstream pop and angst-ridden alternative rock. The album, which produced a string of Top 10 songs like “You Oughta Know,” “Hand in My Pocket,” and “Ironic,”. It also won five Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year. Making the 21-year-old Morissette the youngest performer to ever win the prestigious honor, the album was ranked number 69 on Rolling Stone’s list of “the 500 best albums of all time.”

Morissette won a total of seven Grammys and was nominated fourteen times. Included among her finest songs are You Learn, Head Over Feet, All I Really Want, Thank You, Mary Jane, Uninvited, Perfect, Forgiven, Right Through You, Wake Up, and many more.

And she has been one of the most influential singer-songwriter musicians in contemporary music since 1995. Her deeply expressive music and performances have received widespread praise from critics. Jagged Little Pill, Morissette’s debut album from 1995, was followed by nine more eclectic and acclaimed albums. She has composed music for theatrical releases and appeared in films both big and small. Aside from entertainment, she is a strong advocate for female empowerment, as well as spiritual, psychological, and physical well-being. Alanis Morissette launched Conversation with Alanis Morissette in 2016, a monthly podcast featuring conversations with a variety of revered authors, doctors, educators, and therapists on a wide range of psychosocial topics ranging from spirituality to developmentalism to art.

On December 5, 2019, “JAGGED LITTLE PILL” the musical made its Broadway debut at the Broadhurst Theatre in New York City. The show was nominated for fifteen Tony Awards and won 2 Tony Awards at the 2021 ceremony. In July of 2020, Alanis released her ninth studio album, Such Pretty Forks In The Road, to rave reviews. In August of 2021, Alanis kicked off her sold out world tour celebrating 25 years of Jagged Little Pill. The tour became the #1 female-fronted tour from 2021 and one of the Top Worldwide Tours of 2021 selling over 500,000 tickets. Alanis also stars in Fox’s sitcom, “The Great North,” which has returned for season 3 in 2022.

KAIA brims with magnetic confidence on empowering pop anthem “5678”

P-Pop girl group KAIA celebrates International Women’s Month with the release of “5678,” a dance-pop track about preparing to face everything your way, no matter what anyone else says.


Penned by the members of KAIA with the help of Ohwon Lee, PaperPlanet, and LEO, “5678” stands out as a fired-up anthem aimed towards inspiring women everywhere to never give up on their dreams.
“This is a living testament that we’re always trying to make it on our own terms, one step at a time, without looking back,” shares KAIA in a statement. “We are thankful for the opportunities that are presented to us, and we promise to deliver a message of positivity and hope in our songs, as a way to give back to our supporters.”


Uplifting and brimming with magnetic confidence, the song sends the pop quintet’s message of self-love and empowerment with lines (“Hingang malalim, lahat tatahakin / Hindi na ako maliligaw” trans: dbreath, ready to conquer the roadmap / This time, I won’t get lost) that will surely resonate with generations of listeners from all around the world.


“5678” is produced by Ohwon Lee, whose career-spanning work includes songs from some of the biggest names in K-Pop. His sonic approach fits KAIA’s energetic defiance, with a synth intro immediately signaling that something explosive is about to arrive, and frantic beats building up throughout the song to “effectively convey the girls’ unstoppable strengths towards the trials they face.”


The song will also be part of KAIA’s debut EP, which will be released sometime this year. It will be accompanied by a music video helmed by director Raymond Fabian, assisted by Jonathan Tal Placido, under the production house of Studio 79th. The visuals will drop on March 25, Saturday at 6pm.


KAIA adds, “Working with the production house is a smooth process because it’s a collaborative effort between the production team and the members of KAIA, and they are very open to the ideas of KAIA.”

Bryan Adams: A Rockstar Return

Bryan Adams, the Canadian rock legend, was back again in the Manila concert scene, much to the delight of his fans in the city. The concert brought together thousands of people thronging to the Araneta Coliseum to watch one of the most iconic artists of our time.

Adams, who has sold over 100 million records worldwide, has been a popular figure in Philippines for decades. His hits such as “Summer of ’69”, “Heaven”, and “Everything I Do (I Do It for You)” have been chart-toppers in the country, and his concerts have always been sold-out affairs.

The recent concert no different. Fans were treated hear all the classic hits as well as some new material from Adams’ latest album “Shine a Light”. The singer known for his energetic performances and charisma on stage, sure got the crowd rocking with his trademark raspy voice.

Calling the Manila crowd as “magic”, Adams took to stage over 25 songs from his robust discography. It was one sing-along, rock-along and nostalgia-tugging-along evening for everyone.

TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB heading back to Manila for one night show on August 2023

Known by fans as one of the most iconic indie bands, TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB started as a self-producing band in Northern Ireland. They made their debut in 2010 with their album Tourist History which includes their biggest hit “What You Know”. THE STAYING POWER OF STRAY KIDS: MANIAC World Tour Manila 2023 Concert Round-up

Stray Kids, the K-Pop sensation known for their pulsating beats, staggering choreography, and powerful energy, graced Manila with a 2-day concert called MANIAC WORLD TOUR, presented by PULP LIVE WORLD. Fans have been eagerly awaiting this event, which promised to be a spectacular visual and musical experience. And Stray Kids weren’t kidding in delivering this.

Fans frolicked in an electric atmosphere, as Stray Kids is renowned for their high-octane performances that leave audiences spell-bound. BGYO marks 2nd anniversary with “Be Us” album showcase at Skydome

BGYO members Gelo, Akira, JL, Mikki, and Nate are getting ready to set the stage on fire for their upcoming fan con—the “Be Us” second anniversary album showcase happening at SM City North Edsa Skydome this May 12 (Friday).

The group’s sophomore album “Be Us” showed great success as it has racked up over 4.3 million streams, while its tracks “Magnet” reached 1 million streams and “Tumitigil Ang Mundo” reached 1.5 million streams on Spotify. It also topped the iTunes’ album chart in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and United Arab Emirates.
