Globe brings weekend madness this March with Wanderland and Arctic Monkeys LIVE!

Best weekend ever? It’s possible this 1st weekend of March. As live music makes a huge comeback this year, Globe in partnership with Karpos Multimedia, is giving music enthusiasts a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience the most anticipated tours and festivals of 2023 with two amazing shows happening in March: Wanderland Music and Arts Festival and Arctic Monkeys.

Wanderland: The Comeback
After a pandemic-induced hiatus since 2019, the biggest music festival in the Philippines is making a grand return on March 4 and 5 at the Filinvest City Events Grounds in Muntinlupa City. Headliners French band Phoenix and Canadian superstar Carly Rae Jepsen will be bringing their infectious pop music to the festival, as part of a smashing lineup with the biggest acts from here and across the world. Supporting acts include FKJ, Bobby, Dashboard Confessional, ((( O ))), Raveena, Sunset Rollercoaster and more.

Arctic Monkeys
English rock band Arctic Monkeys will finally set foot in Manila to perform their top hits including songs from their latest album, “The Car”, as the band headlines their first concert in the Philippines, also at the Filinvest City Events Grounds in Muntinlupa City on March 6, a day after the epic Wanderland comeback. “The Car” is the award-winning band’s seventh studio album that deftly blends funk, orchestral rock, lounge and baroque pop.

FKJ coming back to Wanderland Festival this March 2023

French Kiwi Juice, or FKJ in short, is the latest addition to the Wanderland 2023 lineup.

FKJ has previously played Wanderland in 2018, a year after releasing his self-titled debut album, French Kiwi Juice and played a headline show for Karpos Live in 2019. Finally, after his latest release in 2022, V I N C E N T, he’s returning to the Philippines and making his own comeback on the Wanderland stage.

Vincent Fenton, the man behind the moniker, FKJ, is a self-taught genre-blending multi-instrumentalist from France–a multi-hyphenated artist to say the least.

With that said, it’s really hard to put into words what his music is like.

It’s a kaleidoscopic blend of jazz, electronic, soul, and RnB, paired with an intricate instrumentation of guitar, bass, piano, saxophone and more. It sounds complex but ironically, his music transports listeners to a space that’s light and airy with lots of room for them to feel, think, and wander–a testament to how he masterfully creates each track and why he is a perfect match for the Wanderland roster.

We’re told the best way to experience his music is by watching him play live (it’s the reason why the Wanderland team keeps inviting him back!). His live set is like an invitation to his own living room, an organic showcase of art and talent—only more crisp and astonishing than playing it over headphones or speakers. Not only can you dive into the rhythms and melodies, you get to pay close attention to how he can switch instruments up in an instant.

Wanderland Music & Arts Festival has officially announced Carly Rae Jepsen as a headliner for their festival happening on March 4 & 5, 2023.

The festival has been dropping sneaky hints about Jepsen’s addition to the lineup with dedicated fans dissecting each post and breaking down her tour schedules just to prove that a Carly Rae Jepsen return to the Philippines was in the books.

ARCTIC MONKEYS finally performing in Manila on March 2023

Karpos Multimedia, the team behind Wanderland Music & Arts Festival, is bringing British rock band, Arctic Monkeys, for their first ever headline show in the Philippines on March 6, 2023 at the Filinvest City Events Grounds.
