Rock icon SLASH returns to Manila this March 2024

British-American award-winning guitarist Saul Hudson, professionally known as Slash, brings “THE RIVER IS RISING – REST OF THE WORLD TOUR ‘24” to Manila!

Presented to you by PEACE Integrated Marketing, SIN YE LONG, Jasper Entertainment Production, and MakeitLive Asia, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators are ready to set the stage on fire at the New Frontier Theater on March 12, 2024.

Slash’s career skyrocketed into the industry around the 1980’s and his success as a musician only went uphill from there, following his legendary guitar riffs that named him one of the greatest guitarists of all time and people referring to him as the “Riff Lord”.

In 2010, Slash released his self-titled first solo album which debuted at No. 3 on the U.S. chart upon its release, followed by his second album “Apocalyptic Love” in 2012 where he mostly collaborated with his touring bandmates Myles Kennedy (Vocals), Todd Kerns (Bass and Vocals), Brent Fritz (Drums) and Frank Sidoris (Guitar and Vocals), a combination that gave birth to “Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators” (SMKC).

On February 11, 2022, SMKC released their fourth studio album “4” which debuted as the #1 Most-Selling Hard Rock Album, kicking it off with their first single “The River is Rising” from which they named their much awaited tour after and their fans from Manila should gear up for the hook of their lifetimes!

Limited Pre-Sale for Early Bird tickets will be available at www.makeitlive.asia starting November 15, 2023, Wednesday, while General Ticket Sales will start on November 18, 2023 via Ticketnet online and offline.

PULP SUMMER SLAM XX: WORLDS COLLIDE PUTS THE SPOTLIGHT AND BRINGS HEAVY METAL BACK TO THE PHILIPPINES

The longest-running metal festival in Southeast Asia returns! And in true PULP-style, the musical mayhem is only getting bigger, louder, and better for Filipino fans of true hard rock and metal.

Dubbed PULP Summer Slam XX: Worlds Collide, the event – which happens next year on March 23rd, 2024 at the famed Amoranto Stadium in Quezon City- not only aims to keep the fine tradition of delivering the best artists the genre has to offer, but also to continuously elevate the overall concert experience for rock fans, through an impressive display of lights, sound, and perks like exclusive meet n’ greet packages for diehard aficionados.

PULP Summer Slam XX boasts of an all-international lineup of 10 internationally acclaimed bands coming from all corners of the globe: from Italy, FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE will be delivering a frighteningly impressive set of symphonic and technical death metal, while Sau Paolo Brazil’s CRYPTA is an all-female death metal outfit that has been making waves in the worldwide metal community. From Seoul, South Korea, genre-bending all-female rock outfit ROLLING QUARTZ will surely add a healthy dose of both sonic and visual candy to the lineup, and Japan’s PROMPTS are raising the flag for melodic heavy metal. And from various cities of the United States, bands like LA DISPUTE (a post-hardcore group from Grand Rapids, Michigan), FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY (a New Jersey-based deathcore band), OF VIRTUE (metalcore from Lansing, Michigan) will be bringing various sounds and styles with their unique takes on the subgenres under the heavy metal umbrella, including show co-headliners like metalcore cult legends CODE ORANGE and modern punk rock band STORY OF THE YEAR, a surefire favorite that emerged and quickly rose to worldwide popularity during the early part of the millennium.

Headlining the festival to bring the metalcore thunder from down under is PARKWAY DRIVE, arguably one of the biggest Australian underground metal bands the world has ever seen. Hailing from Byron Bay, New South Wales, the band – featuring vocalist Winston McCall, guitarists Jeff Ling and Luke Kilpatrick, bassist Jia O’Connor, and drummer Ben Gordon – Parkway Drive is definitely anticipated by many fans, as this would be their second time in the country, the first show being 12 years ago in 2011 which was also produced by PULP Live World.

“I had thought of ending PULP Summer Slam on its 20th year but I’ve changed my mind… metal shall live,” PULP Live World Productions CEO Vernon Go simply shared, when asked for his thoughts about the upcoming event. Himself a heavy metal fan, he and PULP Live World have been responsible for bringing in the biggest names in the genre over the past two decades, like Megadeth, Lamb of God, ArchEnemy, Slayer, Anthrax, Testament, Death Angel, Killswitch Engage and many, many more – bands that no other company would dare to touch or invite to the Philippines.

Without a doubt, PULP Summer Slam still holds its rightful reputation as being the most legitimate metal festival for Filipino fans since its first installment in the year 2000. It has become an annual mecca of sorts, where fans from all over the country – and the world – gather to celebrate and support both artists and each other to keep the flame of the worldwide heavy metal scene burning bright.

Tickets to PULP Summer Slam XX: Worlds Collide go on sale worldwide on October 31st, 2023 at 10am PH time via PULP Tickets, SM Tickets, and TicketNet outlets and online. PULP ROYALTY Tickets will only be available through pulptickets.com or by emailing royalty@pulp.ph. So be sure to spread the word and raise them horns! PULP Summer Slam is back! See you at the Slam!

Lukas Graham performs at New Frontier Theater this weekend

Lukas Graham became one of the first 25 acts to enter Spotify’s Billions Club. ‘7 Years’ is the remarkable story of a poem – a global multi-Platinum #1-hit song with no classic pop hook but a life-changing message to tell of family, friendship and growing older – that paved the way for a Worldwide Danish pop sensation and an unimaginable rise to fame of one of the sincerest songwriters of the 21st century.

‘7 Years’ was released in the Autumn of 2015. It wasn’t a hit over night but a timeless classic. Eventually, Lukas Graham took the stage with memorable performances on some of the biggest American talk shows hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, James Corden, Conan O’Brian, Ellen DeGeneres and Seth Meyers. It was primetime pop poetry that skyrocketed the song and artist into a global phenomenon.

To this day, the official music video for ‘7 Years’ has more than 1,4 billion views on Youtube while the Billion Club-hit is closing in on 2 billion streams on Spotify. The massive success was followed by another milestone: the self-titled international debut album!

From humble beginnings in a Copenhagen hippie commune to sharing the red carpet with the likes of Adele, Justin Bieber and Beyoncé in Hollywood, Lukas Grahams honest reaction, when talking to The New York Times about the astonishing accomplishment, was “Completely surreal”.

Lukas Graham made the headlines again with the release of ‘Love Someone’ also announcing the highly anticipated ‘3 (The Purple Album)’. While the debut album was dedicated to Lukas’ late father, new beginnings began to unfold with ‘Love Someone’. Engaged to his long-time girlfriend and now a father himself, the theme revolved around “the kind of love I’m feeling that I’ve never felt before”.

With an international career, spanning over more than seven years, the singer-songwriter’s journey of self-discovery was portrayed into the words and songs that would become his most honest work to date: ‘4 (The Pink Album)’, inspired by his daughters’ favourite color.

Lukas Graham has toured over the years selling out shows and tours across Europe, North America and Asia – engaging and enchanting audiences with both highly energetic and captivating performances wherever he goes.

Lukas Graham’s concert in Manila will really be a night to remember. Promoted by Midas Productions and KDR Music House. Tickets at ticketnet.com at 4925 (VIP) / 4175 (Orchestra) / 4070 (Loge) / 3655 (Balcony 1) / 3105 (Balcony 2). Tickets are currently on sale.

On October 22, Lukas Graham will be joined by fellow Universal Music artist, Juan Karlos, whose song, “Ere”, recently made history as the first Filipino song to appear on the Spotify Global Chart.

RANDOM HITS LIVE SHINES THE SPOTLIGHT ON OPM ICON JOEY G

It’s the voice. It’s the songs. And it’s definitely the overall contributions to the great OPM Songbook that makes an artist great, and span decades with the timeless adoration and respect by his/her fellow peers and audiences worldwide.

Joey G. is definitely one of those artists.

A songwriter/singer/performer who has endeared himself and his body of work to music fans through the decades… it is simply a remarkable feat that he is still at it… and shows no signs of slowing down, nor chooses to stop and smell the proverbial roses.

Which is why concert production outfit Random Minds is proud to announce that this November 5th, fans will be able to enjoy a full night of both reminiscing and appreciating Joey G’s extensive repertoire with its second installment of the Random Hits Live series at the famed New Frontier Theater at the Araneta Center, Cubao.

Dubbed Joey G. Side Ko Lang…longtime followers can expect nothing but the absolute best from the celebrated performer, whose uncanny ability to fuse the best in pop/rock/adult contemporary music with painfully sincere lyricism has elevated his status to that of legendary in the country. With his too-many-to-count smash hits with his former outfit Side A (ditties like “Forevermore,” “So Many Questions” “Set You Free” and “Hold On,” to name a very select few…) to his melodically enthralling recent releases like 2021’s “Deep Inside” and this year’s “Letting You Go,” it is without a doubt that this will truly be one magical evening for fans of all ages.

Also joining Joey G. is fellow hit-maker Juris, who is slated to add even more enchanting songs that everyone will surely sing-along-to and appreciate.

“Random Hits Live is a series of shows featuring both local and international acts wherein audiences can enjoy both a host of hit songs and new music from their favorite artists,” says Random Minds’ main man Allan Villegas. “Our first installment featured Korean group Dreamcatcher, so we figured it was only natural that we also celebrate our very own legendary talents like Joey G. And as for Side Ko Lang… we also plan to bring the show out on tour outside of Manila,” shares Villegas.

Tickets are already on sale and they are going fast, so head-on over to www.ticketnet.com.ph to purchase your tickets online or go to any TicketNet outlet nationwide. There’s also a limited number of VIP Meet n’ Greet passes available exclusively through https://www.randommindsinc.com/.
