Musicians perform for a cause in “Resbak Para Kay Gab”: Ebe Dancel, The Itchyworms, Rivermaya, Kamikazee, and more

Some of the biggest artists in local music are performing in “Resbak Para Kay Gab,” happening on 4 March 2023 at 123 Block, Mandala Park.

The show is for the benefit of their fellow musician and friend, Gab Chee Kee (of Parokya Ni Edgar fame) who has been diagnosed with lymphoma in 2022.

“As of last week, his bill is already at PHP 8 million and counting (which) is no joke. He was just released from the ICU after more than a month, and is now in rehab to help his mobility after more than a month in bed,” shares Ebe Dancel who will be performing at the said event.

Joining Dancel in the lineup are bands Riverymaya, The Itchyworms, Kamikazee, 6CycleMind, and Gracenote. Fans can look forward to long sets from all the music artists who will be performing that night. Everyone included in the lineup will also be performing for free.

“Gab is well-loved because he cares about everyone. He will always be the first person there for you when you need help. We’re simply repaying him for his love and generosity throughout the years,” Dancel adds. “His battle has just begun, so every centavo counts. We’ll see you on March 4 and we promise to make it worth your time.”

Tickets are available at PHP 1,500 via Backspacer Records. Monetary help is also welcome and can be sent via the QR codes below:
