The split of the album was intentional, mirroring the way traditional Korean novels were released in two parts giving time to take a break and process what you have consumed before moving on to the next. According to a recent interview with RollingStone magazine, the message behind this newest release is that EPIK HIGH is here even when you think no one is willing to listen. This album shares wisdom that only comes from the experience of 20 years of lows and some pretty epic highs.

Fans of EPIK HIGH – High Skool – will learn the group’s independence has merely whetted their capacity for producing the experimental and provocative music all have come to love. Expect to rave to emotive hip-hop track “Born Hater” or universally loved hit “Happen Ending”, and be challenged not to join in a nostalgic sing-along to classic chart-topper “Fly”. Along with the characteristically playful antics of the forever young-at-heart man band, fans can be assured of a night to remember like no other.

Thai heartthrob Gulf Kanawut was recently in Manila for his first ever fan meet at the New Frontier Theater. And the actor proved that he’s more than just good looks as he showcased some his talents in dancing and singing as well. Before taking the stage, Gulf was with a few members of the media for some tete-a-tete. Here are some of the things we learned from our dreamy boy from Bangkok.

1. Gulf wants to try Jollibee. It’s a fact that the fastfood giant is one of the go-to places in the country. So we weren’t surprise when he mentioned that he’s looking forward to try out the place. Same goes to its endorser as he also shared his interest in working with Sarah Geronimo.

2.What’s his favorite body part? You’ll be surprised that he didn’t mention his handsome face or his statuesque height…his answer? His smile. And we totally get why as fans went crazy during his show when he flashed his pleasing pearly whites.

3.When it comes to his down time, Gulf likes to relax and watch old Thai comedies. He didn’t mention anything specific so we’re curious to what his top 3 are. Pretty sure we’ll enjoy it too.

4.Sportscaster Gulf? Why not! The actor shared that if he’s not making magic on the big and small screen, he’d be a football commentator. This seems plausible as Gulf is known to be a soccer fanatic. He even showed it on his show – “TharnType”.

5.So what keeps Gulf motivated? He simply shares “family”. It seems like our Thai cutie has something a lot in common with his fans as we all know, Pinoys are generally close to their fam. Kudos to you, Gulf!

So there you go, 5 cool things we learned from the Gulf.

And on the other hand, we hope that Gulf learned how warm and loud Pinoy fans can get. If the energy from his first fan meet is a measure, we can’t wait for the second.

Check out some photos from that fun show.
