Vocalist and songwriter Joaquin McWhinney, better known as Quino, serves as the frontman of American reggae/pop band Big Mountain since forming in 1992. The band is best known for its remake of Peter Frampton’s “Baby, I Love Your Way”, which skyrocketed them to international acclaim, and eventually spread reggae fever through concert tours and music festivals around the world. With Quino’s distinct voice, the band’s hit reggae song has become a generational love anthem recognized by Filipino listeners.
