This latest track tells the story of how a simple “Hello” can lead (and possibly fast-track) two people into an experience-riddled relationship—one with its whirlwinds of ups and downs. Its lyrics tell the tale of how one’s excitement to say “hello” itself also ironically paints a picture of the potential romance not working out. And that’s okay. Because it’s freeing to enjoy the temporary, especially when you know it’s temporary. Much like knowing that summer is going to end, you’re not sad because, even with it gone, you now have warm memories to look back fondly on.
James also drew inspiration from the past year that the world spent in lockdown. “People have been itching to go out again and experience life,” he explains. “This song portrays that eagerness to make connections, to personally say hello again to someone.”
While this may be the song to cap off his three-single series, this doesn’t mean it’s rest time again for James. His journey through music so far has only reignited his drive to get back into the studio to explore and create new sounds, so there are definitely more exciting things to come soon from James and from Careless Music.
Kyle Echarri is welcoming a fresh era in his music journey with the release of his second full-length album “New Views,” out now on Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, and other digital music platforms.
“‘New Views’ because I’m turning 18 and I think it’s time for people to see my new views on life, who I am as a person, and new views on my love life, stuff like that,” he shared.
A major shift from his debut album in 2016, the young artist personally wrote and composed all seven original tracks included in the album from ABS-CBN’s Star Pop label, and was also heavily involved in the production of most of the songs. Label head Rox Santos served as the album’s supervising producer.
“I can say mismong puso ko na siya, it’s part of my heart kasi I was able to write the whole thing and produce the whole thing. Sinadya ko talaga kasi I really wanted the fans to feel my heart,” Kyle said.
Its key track “Liligawan Na Kita” is a writing collaboration between Kyle and his “Huwag Kang Mangamba” co-stars Seth Fedelin and Andrea Brillantes. The song, produced by Kyle and co-performed by Seth, talks about one’s willingness to wait and court someone very special.
Kyle’s 2020 single “I’m Serious” is also included in the album’s track list along with “Dyosa” which was produced by JayR. Other tracks such as “Mahal Nga Kita” featuring rapper Arvey, “Panaginip,” which is currently featured in the original soundtrack (OST) of anthology series “Click, Like, Share,” “As Long As You’re Mine,” and “Fuego,” which he co-wrote with close friend Darren Espanto—were all self-produced by Kyle.
Meanwhile, in time for his 18th birthday and as a show of gratitude to his fans who have supported him throughout his six years in the entertainment industry, Kyle is set to hold a digital birthday fan con on Sunday (June 20), 7 pm via his kumu account (@echarripapi). Hottest news this week, Careless Music and Kumu Live just announced Nadine Lustre’s first solo concert entitled “Absolute Madness.” As the culmination to her debut solo album “Wildest Dreams”, the concert will air online through Kumu Live’s streaming platform on July 3, 2021 at 7 PM. Kumu, a mobile streaming platform in the Philippines, kicked off a desktop version of their app to cater to live streaming ticketed events. ‘September’ is an emotional acoustic-meets-trap mid-tempo ballad written by James with Wayne Hector and produced by Red Triangle.

Darren Espanto is all set to showcase his transformation as a singer-performer, shedding off his teenage persona for an edgier repertoire and vibe in his comeback concert “Home Run,” finally happening on June 19 (Saturday) with a rerun on June 20 (Sunday) via KTX.ph, iWantTFC, and TFC IPTV for the enjoyment of audiences worldwide.
“It’s called ‘Darren Home Run’ because in the past 7 years parang naikot ko na po lahat ng bases in the music/concert scene in the Philippines. So it’s kind of like I hit a home run in this show. I just came back from Canada so I’m very excited,” Darren said.
Initially scheduled on May 30 and 31, “Darren Home Run: The Comeback Concert” was postponed after the multi-awarded young artist was exposed to a COVID-19 positive individual. Now all systems go this month for the grand musical show which is a collaboration between ABS-CBN Events and MCA Music.
The first major solo virtual concert of Darren—who just turned 20 last May 24—will be directed by Paolo Valenciano, with TV direction by Jon Moll and musical direction by Soc Mina. Performances on the show will be choreographed by D Grind.
“This is the biggest virtual concert that I have ever done. Most of the songs that I personally chose for the setlist are close to my heart and may relation din sa journey ko sa showbiz,” Darren teased.
Along with his jaw-dropping vocal prowess and hip moves, the Kapamilya artist promises never-before-seen song numbers that will make him soar to greater heights, which includes his performance of his latest single “Tama Na.”
The track lyrically speaks of unrequited love and having the courage to withdraw from a one-sided relationship on top of a pop, hip-hop, and R&B sound. “I really liked the song instantly. It’s a sound that people haven’t heard from me before and it’s also a genre I’ve always wanted to try,” he said.
