This latest track tells the story of how a simple “Hello” can lead (and possibly fast-track) two people into an experience-riddled relationship—one with its whirlwinds of ups and downs. Its lyrics tell the tale of how one’s excitement to say “hello” itself also ironically paints a picture of the potential romance not working out. And that’s okay. Because it’s freeing to enjoy the temporary, especially when you know it’s temporary. Much like knowing that summer is going to end, you’re not sad because, even with it gone, you now have warm memories to look back fondly on.
James also drew inspiration from the past year that the world spent in lockdown. “People have been itching to go out again and experience life,” he explains. “This song portrays that eagerness to make connections, to personally say hello again to someone.”
While this may be the song to cap off his three-single series, this doesn’t mean it’s rest time again for James. His journey through music so far has only reignited his drive to get back into the studio to explore and create new sounds, so there are definitely more exciting things to come soon from James and from Careless Music.
Kyle Echarri is welcoming a fresh era in his music journey with the release of his second full-length album “New Views,” out now on Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, and other digital music platforms.
“‘New Views’ because I’m turning 18 and I think it’s time for people to see my new views on life, who I am as a person, and new views on my love life, stuff like that,” he shared.
A major shift from his debut album in 2016, the young artist personally wrote and composed all seven original tracks included in the album from ABS-CBN’s Star Pop label, and was also heavily involved in the production of most of the songs. Label head Rox Santos served as the album’s supervising producer.
“I can say mismong puso ko na siya, it’s part of my heart kasi I was able to write the whole thing and produce the whole thing. Sinadya ko talaga kasi I really wanted the fans to feel my heart,” Kyle said.
Its key track “Liligawan Na Kita” is a writing collaboration between Kyle and his “Huwag Kang Mangamba” co-stars Seth Fedelin and Andrea Brillantes. The song, produced by Kyle and co-performed by Seth, talks about one’s willingness to wait and court someone very special.
Kyle’s 2020 single “I’m Serious” is also included in the album’s track list along with “Dyosa” which was produced by JayR. Other tracks such as “Mahal Nga Kita” featuring rapper Arvey, “Panaginip,” which is currently featured in the original soundtrack (OST) of anthology series “Click, Like, Share,” “As Long As You’re Mine,” and “Fuego,” which he co-wrote with close friend Darren Espanto—were all self-produced by Kyle.
Meanwhile, in time for his 18th birthday and as a show of gratitude to his fans who have supported him throughout his six years in the entertainment industry, Kyle is set to hold a digital birthday fan con on Sunday (June 20), 7 pm via his kumu account (@echarripapi). Fans can also expect live performances of the “New Views” tracks during the virtual event.
Join Kyle as he reaches new grounds by streaming his latest album “New Views,” now available on various digital music streaming services. For more details, follow Star Pop on Facebook (www.facebook.com/starpopph) and on Twitter and Instagram (@starpopph).
Hottest news this week, Careless Music and Kumu Live just announced Nadine Lustre’s first solo concert entitled “Absolute Madness.” As the culmination to her debut solo album “Wildest Dreams”, the concert will air online through Kumu Live’s streaming platform on July 3, 2021 at 7 PM. Purchase tickets now on the Kumu Live website (www.kumu.live) to experience the grand spectacle from the safety of your own homes.
Kumu, a mobile streaming platform in the Philippines, kicked off a desktop version of their app to cater to live streaming ticketed events. Their continued support for Careless Music and for Nadine herself since the release of the Wildest Dreams Visual Album back in October of 2020 led to another big collaboration for this upcoming show made by and in collaboration with world class Filipino talents.
While the visual album last year was groundbreaking in itself for being the first of its kind in the Philippines, all eyes are on this concert again as it is said to be another first in the country for its unique blend of live concert and theatrical stage play.
Produced by Careless Music and shot by The Finest, Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo joins the team as director of the production. Known to be the “first lady of Philippine musical theatre,” Direk Menchu was associate director and also main cast of the musical theater play “Ang Huling El Bimbo” which ran for two successful seasons back in 2018 and 2019. Additionally, even Nadine herself was hands-on in putting together her first-ever solo concert since the onset of her career. Rehearsals are well under way as Nadine goes all in with the cast and crew, which also features James Reid, Massiah, and A-Team in the production. And with Kumu Live as a platform to stream this, “Absolute Madness” is truly another product of great Filipino artists’ and creators’ joint effort.
In a nutshell, Nadine Lustre’s “Absolute Madness” picks up from the Wildest Dreams Visual Album to cement how Nadine has found the answer to the quest of finding herself. Fans can expect never-before-seen performances of tracks from her “Wildest Dreams” album, set on the backdrop of a fantastical theater stage.

‘September’ is an emotional acoustic-meets-trap mid-tempo ballad written by James with Wayne Hector and produced by Red Triangle.
James says: “Basically the song is about being a massive fuck-up but being with the perfect human being who sticks with you. It’s about the undeniable love you have for that person and wanting to start a family with them.”
James has signed a global record deal with Columbia Records and released his first single of the new album – ‘Medicine’ – earlier this year in March. A boldly autobiographical song, ‘Medicine’ was a Top 10 UK airplay hit and has so far had over 40 million streams.
His new album, his 4th long play release, is coming later this year on October 8th.
“With this album from day one there was a sound that I wanted to go for. Even early on it sounded like a real album, a proper body of work. This is the first time I’ve made an album all in one place and you can hear this in the music. There’s something really comfortable about working in your own home with less people – I was able to be more vulnerable than ever.”
James has sold over 30 million records worldwide and has released three hugely successful albums ‘James Arthur’ (No.2), ‘Back From The Edge’ (No.1) and ‘YOU’ (No.2), alongside nine solo UK Top 40 singles. He has had two No.1 smash hits and was awarded a disc for reaching a billion streams on Spotify with ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’, the No.1 global hit that brought the singer-songwriter from Middlesbrough back from the edge (it currently has 1.7 billion streams on the platform).
James recently dominated the airwaves and charts with his storming collaboration with Sigala ‘Lasting Lover’. The track was a No.1 airplay song in the UK, No.1 on iTunes and Top 10 on the Official Singles Chart. He also recently hit the Official UK Chart with ‘Train Wreck’, a track written and recorded for his second album ‘Back From The Edge’, that found a new lease of life via Tik Tok. The track is now certified Gold in the UK and Platinum in the US.

Darren Espanto is all set to showcase his transformation as a singer-performer, shedding off his teenage persona for an edgier repertoire and vibe in his comeback concert “Home Run,” finally happening on June 19 (Saturday) with a rerun on June 20 (Sunday) via KTX.ph, iWantTFC, and TFC IPTV for the enjoyment of audiences worldwide.
“It’s called ‘Darren Home Run’ because in the past 7 years parang naikot ko na po lahat ng bases in the music/concert scene in the Philippines. So it’s kind of like I hit a home run in this show. I just came back from Canada so I’m very excited,” Darren said.
Initially scheduled on May 30 and 31, “Darren Home Run: The Comeback Concert” was postponed after the multi-awarded young artist was exposed to a COVID-19 positive individual. Now all systems go this month for the grand musical show which is a collaboration between ABS-CBN Events and MCA Music.
The first major solo virtual concert of Darren—who just turned 20 last May 24—will be directed by Paolo Valenciano, with TV direction by Jon Moll and musical direction by Soc Mina. Performances on the show will be choreographed by D Grind.
“This is the biggest virtual concert that I have ever done. Most of the songs that I personally chose for the setlist are close to my heart and may relation din sa journey ko sa showbiz,” Darren teased.
Along with his jaw-dropping vocal prowess and hip moves, the Kapamilya artist promises never-before-seen song numbers that will make him soar to greater heights, which includes his performance of his latest single “Tama Na.”
The track lyrically speaks of unrequited love and having the courage to withdraw from a one-sided relationship on top of a pop, hip-hop, and R&B sound. “I really liked the song instantly. It’s a sound that people haven’t heard from me before and it’s also a genre I’ve always wanted to try,” he said.
Tickets for “Darren Home Run: The Comeback Concert” are still available for purchase via KTX.ph, iWantTFC, and TFC IPTV. VIP tickets are priced at P1,500, available only for the June 19 live show via KTX.ph, with an exclusive access to a Zoom party with Darren. Regular tickets can be availed for P699.
SKYcable subscribers can also experience the whole concert commercial-free and in high-definition via SKY Pay-Per-View on June 19 (Saturday) at 8 pm for only P699. To get the pay-per-view passes, they can visit mysky.com.ph/skyppv or text SKY PPV to 23662.

Embracing retro-pop touchstones with soft rock production that brings to mind the golden years of Toto, the song itself stands out as classic Mayer with an unforgettable guitar riff, a twist of keys, and quotable lyrics. Not to mention, Maren Morris makes a cameo in the track and music video, while both percussionist Lenny Castro (Toto) and keyboardist Greg Phillinganes (Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton, Michael Jackson, Toto) perform, alongside Mayer.
Upon its release, “Last Train Home” garnered notable acclaim from music critics. Billboard praised the track for its “slick rock production with an ’80s polish,” while Vulture wrote that it’s “80s enough to make Bryan Adams take that first real six-string back to the five-and-dime.”

Sob Rock Tracklist Last Train Home Shouldn’t Matter but It Does New Light Why You No Love Me Wild Blue Shot in the Dark I Guess I Just Feel Like Til the Right One Comes Carry Me Away All I Want Is to Be With You
In late March, he took to TikTok to play a few bars from “Last Train Home” live, and he generated 1.4 million views in the process. Without warning, Sob Rock ads popped up in subways on both coasts in New York and Los Angeles before billboards lorded over L.A. last month. On Tuesday, he shared the cover art for Sob Rock via his Twitter and spoke with the Wall Street Journal about the single and album. In classic fashion, Official Zines promoting the album have been mailed to fans who signed up at the official Sob Rock site. The issue notably features an interview between Mayer and producer Don Was. Sob Rock kicks off a new chapter for John Mayer and pop music.
There’s nobody quite like John Mayer. He has emerged as a GRAMMY® Award-winning artist, celebrated songwriter, and iconic guitar player all at once. The Bridgeport, CT native introduced himself on the quintuple-platinum Room For Squares in 2001 and has earned three #1 debuts on the Billboard Top 200 with the triple-platinum Heavier Things , double-platinum Battle Studies , and gold Born and Raised . In addition to selling over 20 million albums worldwide and gathering billions of streams to date, he has garnered seven GRAMMY® Awards, including “Song of the Year” for “Daughters.” In 2015, Dead & Company was founded, with Mayer on lead guitar as well as vocals. Since its formation, the band has completed six tours, playing to 3.4 million fans, and has become a record-breaking stadium act. Most recently, 2017’s The Search for Everything bowed at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 and went gold. He reveals his eighth album, Sob Rock, in 2021.
Produced by Eunice Jorge of Gracenote, “nevermind” is an antithesis to her debut single “Crash Landing” that showed the uncertain yet exciting part of being in love. Her latest single leans towards the heartbreaking out-turn of a relationship falling apart. BEY posted a series of photos on her Instagram account that perfectly encapsulates what the song is all about.
Since her debut as an artist at the start of the year, BEY has been engaged in numerous media guestings both internationally and locally. And although the young artist currently resides in Los Angeles, this didn’t stop her from participating in benefit concerts in the Philippines. Recently, she performed in #KapitBisig, an online benefit fundraising concert for Ako Bakwit and in Kayumanggi, a benefit concert for Sabokahan community in Mindanao.
She has also released a stripped down version of her debut single, “Crash Landing.” BEY continues to share her talent by releasing her own rendition of songs on her Youtube channel. In her latest single, “nevermind”, BEY shows how versatile she can be by keeping her music varied and new for her listeners.
Titled “I Believe: A Virtual Concert for a Cause,” the virtual concert aims to raise funds for the benefit of St. Rita Orphanage in Parañaque, a small sanctuary for children who have been left abandoned by their parents.
“I’m thankful that God has now given me the opportunity to share my talent and be an instrument to help others,” said Gaea. “This pandemic has taught us kids to be more caring to our family and to others in our community. I believe that all of us can do something for each other in our own little ways. I want to be of help to fellow children especially those who need extra care and support. And I hope that more people can join in to help.”
Produced by Ditse Productions, Inc and Rose Sheane TV Finland in collaboration with CyberPinoy Radio Canada, “I Believe” will be held online via Gaea’s official Facebook Page and YouTube Channel on June 27 (Sunday) at 7PM PH Time.
Under the musical direction of ECHO MUSIC, Gaea’s special guests include YouTube celebrity and singer-songwriter Mikey Bustos and the OLPGV Choir.
Gaea Mischa is a mutli-award winning performer who is best known for being The Voice Kids Philippines Season 4 finalist from Team Sarah of Sarah Geronimo and Team Lea of Lea Salonga. Gaea has also been named the WCOPA 2018 Champion and SM Little Stars 2017 Girl Grand Winner.
